About the Book:
Developing the Leader in You is part of a series that is aimed at enabling you to develop an individual leadership profile and an individual skills profile, through the process of self-reflection, culminating in the development of a plan for leadership improvement.
The philosophy that underpins the approach taken in this series is that becoming a leader in an organisation (or any other setting) is a privilege, but this privilege comes with certain obligations. A prime obligation is that leaders are morally obliged to serve first the organisation and its people rather than their own self-interests.
This book specifically covers strategic leadership, and the concepts of power, influence, and organisational culture.
Other books in this series include:
- Seeing the Leader in You: The Personal Qualities of a Leader.
- Understanding the Leader in You: Roles for Leaders and Followers.
- Improving the Leader in You: Learning Leadership Skills.
